History

AMSA S.p.A. (founded 1953) and COSMA S.p.A. (founded 1977) are two chemical plants well known worldwide and especially appreciated in the western world and in the countries adhering to the PIC (Pharmaceutical Inspection Convention)
Then belong to the CFM Group, a private enterprise involved in chemistry and pharmaceuticals since 1949.
Thought being legally different enterprises they have been organized to optimize scale economy by the unification of many functions in the areas of management, quality and QA system, research, marketing and sales.
